Price to earn your wanted profit: –
Daraz takes its commission and the payment fee from the full selling price, before it pays you. Then your own costs come off: the item, packing and any shipping fee you pay. On a Rs 2,500 item with 12% taken, Rs 300 goes to fees before you count anything else.
Rates differ by category and change during campaigns, so check Seller Center for the rate on your category and enter it here. Returns cost money too: if one order in ten comes back, add a little to the price to cover it.
To set a price that earns a fixed profit, add up cost, packing, shipping and the profit you want, then divide by (1 − commission − payment fee).
It depends on the category and changes from time to time, so take the current rate for your category from Seller Center. Enter it here with the payment fee and any shipping fee you pay.
Commission and the payment fee are taken from the full price, then shipping, packing and returns come on top. A 15% margin can turn into 3–5% after these.
Work back from the profit you want: price = (cost + packing + shipping you pay + profit) ÷ (1 − commission − payment fee). This calculator does that for you.
