A full truck trip
Freight = weight (or pieces) × rate, plus loading, labour and bilty charges. 800 kg at Rs 12 a kg with Rs 500 of charges is Rs 10,100. Write on the bilty whether it is paid now or "to pay" at the destination.
Add the freight of every bilty on the truck, then take off diesel (distance ÷ km per litre × rate), the driver and cleaner, food, toll and loading. A trip that looks full can still lose money if diesel has gone up and rates have not.
Most goods addas charge by weight (per kg or per maund) or by piece for bags and cartons, plus fixed loading, labour and bilty charges.
Add up the freight from every bilty on the truck, then take off diesel, driver, cleaner, toll and loading. What is left is the trip's profit.
