Mobile shop software: IMEI, repairs and used phones

Record the IMEI of every phone bought and sold, take repair jobs with a slip and buy used phones with the seller's CNIC.

A mobile shop is really three businesses in one: new phones, repairs and used phones. Each has its own risk, and IMEI numbers tie them together.

IMEI on every phone

When phones come in from the distributor, the IMEI of each one is recorded. When you sell, the POS asks for the IMEI, so the bill says exactly which set the customer took. If it comes back as a return, the IMEI goes back into stock. IMEI search shows the history of any number.

Repairs

Take a repair job with the customer's name, the phone, the fault and an advance. The slip can go to the customer's WhatsApp. When the phone is ready and collected, it becomes a bill and the advance is taken off.

Used phones

When you buy a used phone from a customer, the seller's CNIC is recorded with the IMEI. If there is ever a question about where a phone came from, the record is there.

Selling on installments

Many phones are sold on qist. Add the Installments module and the bill can become a monthly plan with a guarantor and reminders.
