A kiryana runs on a few hundred items that sell every day: atta, chawal, daal, ghee, cheeni, chai, soap and the rest. Most owners keep the list in their head, which works until someone else sits at the counter or the month-end hisaab does not match.
What is in the General store / kiryana list
This is the starting list Munshi adds when you choose General store / kiryana: 118 items in 11 sections, each with its Urdu and English name and the right unit. Prices are left for you, because they differ from city to city.

Tips for this kind of shop
- Sell atta, daal and cheeni by the kg and let the app work out the amount; for loose items you can also type the rupees and it works out the weight.
- Keep a separate udhaar page for every regular customer instead of the old register, so the total is always right.
- Set a low-stock level on fast items like cooking oil and milk packs so they appear on your reorder list before they run out.
