Selling on qist: plans, guarantors and reminders
Turn a bill into a monthly installment plan with markup, keep the guarantor's details, and let reminders go out before every due date.

Electronics, furniture, mobile and motorcycle dealers sell a large part of their stock on installments. The selling is easy. Keeping track of thirty customers each paying on a different date is the hard part.
Making a plan
Make the bill as usual: take what the customer pays today and put the rest on udhaar. Then press Installments on that bill, or turn part of a customer's existing udhaar into a plan. Set the number of months and the markup. Munshi makes the monthly schedule. Add the guarantor's name, CNIC and phone, because sooner or later you will need them.
The markup is booked as income on the customer's khata, so your profit report includes it.
Taking payments
When the customer pays, take it against their plan and give a receipt. Payments are normal khata receipts, so the customer's balance and your cash book stay correct.
Reminders and the overdue list
Reminders go out before each due date by WhatsApp or SMS. The overdue list shows who is late, by how many days and by how much, so you call the right people first.
The Installments module is Rs 249 a month.
