Bus tickets and goods bilty for your adda

At a busy adda the booking clerk does three jobs at once: selling seats, booking parcels and answering the phone. The Transport module tries to make each of those quicker and leave a record behind.

Seats on a map

Open today's trip and the vehicle is drawn row by row. Free seats are green, men blue, ladies pink, held seats amber. Tap the seats, write the passenger's name, mobile and CNIC, and print the ticket.

If a seat is next to a passenger of the other gender from another booking, the clerk sees a warning and can change it. A seat can be held for a passenger who will pay later, until the time you set.

Before the bus leaves, print the passenger list with names, CNIC and seats. That is the paper the check posts ask for.

Daily trips

Set up your routes and vehicles once. Then add daily departures such as 08:00, 14:00 and 22:30 for as many days ahead as you like.

Goods on bilty

Book a parcel with the sender, receiver, goods and freight. The freight can be paid now, to pay by the receiver, or put on the sender's account. Cash on delivery can be added for the goods' value. The bilty prints in two copies.

Goods are loaded on a trip from the trip screen. When the trip arrives, the receiver gets a message. They collect with their CNIC and pay any to-pay freight and COD then. COD collected is paid to the sender later, and a list shows what is still owed.

The clerk's cash

At the end of the day, each booking clerk sees their seats sold, refunds, bilty freight and money taken at delivery, and the cash to hand in.
