Aasaan alfaaz mein
- Aap ki dukaan ka record aap ka hai. Hum ise kisi ko nahin bechte.
- Gahakon ke naam aur number sirf unhein aap ke bill aur yaad dahani bhejne ke liye rakhte hain.
- WhatsApp paighamat Meta ke zariye jate hain; login code SMS ya email se bhi aa sakta hai.
- Aap ka record sirf aap aur woh staff dekh sakta hai jise aap ijazat dein.
- Aap jab chahein apna data download kar sakte hain aur Settings mein account band kar sakte hain; hum 30 din mein delete kar dete hain.
Apna Munshi ("Munshi", "we") at apnamunshi.com is run by MGH, Pizzito, near Nagina Sweet and Bakery, Block A, Samanabad, Faisalabad. This policy explains what data we keep when a business uses Munshi, and what happens to messages sent through Munshi on WhatsApp.
What we collect
- Account details: the owner's and staff members' names, mobile numbers, email addresses and PINs (stored scrambled).
- Business records the business enters: bills, products, stock, udhaar khata, expenses, staff attendance and salaries, and school or clinic records. This includes their customers' names and phone numbers.
- WhatsApp messages: when a business connects WhatsApp, we send receipts, reminders and login codes, and we receive the replies and orders its customers send to that number. We keep the message text and the phone number.
- Technical data: sign-in times, IP address and device type, used for security and fixing problems.
How we use it
- To run the app for the business: billing, khata, stock, reports and reminders.
- To send messages the business or the person asked for: receipts, payment reminders, login codes and order updates.
- To answer questions in AI Munshi, using only that business's own data.
- To keep accounts secure, prevent misuse and give support.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use customers' phone numbers for our own advertising.
Who we share it with
- Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform): to deliver and receive WhatsApp messages.
- SMS and email providers: to deliver login codes when WhatsApp is not available.
- AI provider (Anthropic): the question and the business data needed to answer it, when AI Munshi is used.
- Services the business switches on: for example couriers, online stores, payment companies or the FBR/PRA, and only for that purpose.
- Authorities: when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Business records are kept while the account is active, so the books stay complete. After an account is closed, its data is deleted within 30 days, apart from billing records we must keep by law. Backups are overwritten within 30 more days.
Deleting your data
- Business owners: in the app, go to Settings → Close my shop account and confirm. Everything is deleted within 30 days.
- Anyone else (for example a customer whose number a shop saved, or someone who messaged a business on WhatsApp): send "Delete my data" with your phone number on WhatsApp to +92 320 7860440 or email support@apnamunshi.com. We remove your number and messages within 30 days, and tell the business so it can correct its own records.
Security
Data travels over HTTPS. Passwords and PINs are stored scrambled, and API keys are stored encrypted. Each business can only see its own records, and staff only see what the owner allows.
Children
Munshi is for businesses. Schools may enter student records. These are visible only to that school, and to parents through links the school sends.
