Calling a customer about money is uncomfortable for both sides. A short, polite message with the exact amount and a link to their statement is easier to send and easier to answer.
What goes out
With the WhatsApp & SMS module, Munshi can send:
- receipts after a sale;
- udhaar reminders with the amount and a statement link;
- installment, appointment and fee reminders;
- alerts in other modules, such as a lab report being ready or a bilty arriving.
The owner's evening summary comes on WhatsApp too.
Your own number
Messages to your customers go from your business, through the WhatsApp or SMS account you connect on the Connections page. Munshi's own SMS is kept for sign-up and PIN codes only. That way customers see your name, and you control the cost.
If nothing is connected
You can still send reminders by hand. The reminder button opens WhatsApp with the message already written, and you press send.
